Christmas is twelve days away!

It's time for some mp3 uploadage, and wouldn't ya know it, I've got TWENTY FIVE CHRISTMAS SONGS TO SHARE! I have a pretty extensive collection, so I looked through my entire collection and picked out the best of the best.

~.*'.:MERRY CHRISTMAS :.'*.~

Congo
Lokua Kanza feat. Deep Forest - Ave Maria
The african drum beats mixed with the traditional sounds of the original song give it a very ethnic feel. It's hauntingly perfect and my favorite version of Ave Maria so far.

Austria
Vienna Boys Choir - Carol of the Bells
This is a classic and pretty in a haunting, eerie sort of way.
Vienna Boys Choir - Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor
This is BEAUTIFUL, and if doesn't sound that way to you, you need new ears my friend.

Ireland
Enya - Silent Night (Gaelic)
It's gaelic! :D And besides that, it's very serene (if Lord of the Rings were a Christmas film, this would be the title song).
Celtic Woman - That Night In Bethlehem (Gaelic)
More gaelic goodness! It's very soothing. This features traditional Celtic instruments!
Loreena McKennitt - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
This has an ancient, arabic feel to it, and mixed with her soaring soprano vocals equals a very good collaborative effort!

Japan
The Eccentric Opera - The First Noel
They give it a crazy, awesome new spin!
The Eccentric Opera - Gloria
  Same as above!
The Brilliant Green - Angel's Song (Eve no Kane)
R.I.P BURIGIRI! You were soooo good. This is pretty and almost epic sounding.
BoA - Last Christmas
Simply put, BoA makes Christmas fun. This song makes me think of BoA walking out of Bloomingdales with ten shopping bags in tow.
Dreams Come True - Yuki no Christmas
This pleasantly uses traditional Japanese sounds to give birth to a new sound.
Maaya Sakamoto - Kissing the Christmas Killer
What a title. Ok this is a very solemn piece but very beautiful as well, and Maaya's vocals are just plain gorgeous to listen to!
Glay - Winter, Again
This is fun! Just HAD to include a rock song.
KAT-TUN - Silent Night
First off, it's live. Secondly, SO CUTE!!
Matsutoya Yumi - Koibito ga Santa Claus
This is by far the cutest song out of the entire batch. You can't help but love it.
Okamura Takako - Christmas no Yoru
Early 90s is in! This is pretty stellar and the vibe is well, very early 90s.
Tommy Heavenly6 - I LOVE XMAS
If you're new to Sugar Virus, you're going to have to get used to seeing Tommy Heavenly6 pop up everywhere. She's my favorite, and this is no exception.
Matsuura Aya - Merry X'mas For You
Hello Project! fans will remember her from Gomattou (She's part of GAM now). This is slightly acapella, but very charming and petite as a song.
Kinki Kids - Harmony of December
Their new single! Personally what makes this song for me is the solo violin!
Namie Amuro - White Light
This is very Namie style, good R'n'b beats, and I love the overlapping vocals.

US
Liz Callaway - Once Upon A December
  From Anastasia, the movie!
Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You
It's a classic, played in malls all across America but I say - it's still good.
ComradeF - Blue Snow
  If snow had a sound...
Kay Starr - I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm (Stuhr Mix)
The remix of this somehow flows *completely* in sync with the song (which is some 50 something years old). It is freaking awesome! Good Christmas party song.

And now... The MUST-DOWNLOAD of the list!

The Berlin Sympony Orchestra - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy (Red Baron Remix)
It's remixed perfectly in sync with the original song, which by itself is awesome enough. Well, it just got more awesome (and hip). This song completely arrested my attention when I first heard it, definitely a must download.

PVs for grabs!!!

I have three Christmasy PVs to share!

Ayumi Hamasaki - JEWEL
Little trivia about this one - it's the 16th most expensive music video in the world. The snow takes the form of glittering diamonds. It's very sparkly and heavy-set on close-ups of Ayumi's extremely FLAWLESS face. Coupled with the song it's just breathtaking.

Lareine - Metamorphose
This PV is full of romantically-charged angst set against a snowy backdrop with lots of random rose petals here and there. Kamijo's vocals sound so gorgeous too (albeit angst-filled).

Tommy Heavenly6 - I LOVE XMAS
Tommy's videos are super-silly, but compared to her other PVs this one's a bit tame. To summarize, we have a porn director looking Santa Claus, with a sleigh pulled by panda bears, and lots of cute little floating graphics randomly thrown in here and there, and on top of ALL that - a really good song!

That's it!! I don't require comments (I mean c'mon, this is Christmas time) stating "I downloaded this and this and this" but it would be NICE to leave a comment, just so I know that stuff has been downloaded. More importantly, let me know what you thought of the songs!!

(Side note - the song I'm listening to currently is WAY awesome, I gots it on repeat :D)

I nabbed a buttload of things because my Christmas folder is lacking in some of the "lesser known" artists (like BuriGuri and Eccentric Opera). I also got the uber-reccomendation :)

I think Ayu's fairyland and my name's WOMEN pvs were more expensive than Jewel, hahaha. Goes to show that the woman spends a lot in making her PVs look good. Definitely taking a lot of the stuff here. :D

I agree, Vienna Boys Choir - Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor, is BEAUTIFUL! I have it on repeat. Thank you for sharing. I needed some Christmas songs on my computer. I've downloaded that, Celtic Women (in March I started getting into them), and Mayaa (love her, she's great in concert too!) already, and will be downloading more.
